  • 6 salmon fillets, with skin or without skin
  • 1/2 bowl and 2 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce, for two
  • 2-3 tablespoons of chopped chives
  • Salt to taste
  • Cooking spray

How to Cook Salmon

  1. Prepare a large baking pan. Put salmon fillets in it.
  2. Sprinkle each fillet with a pinch of salt and spread the top with 1 tbsp Thai sweet chili sauce. Flatten with fingers so that the top, bottom and sides of the fish are covered flat with the sauce. Cover the container, then put it in the freezer for 2 hours or overnight.
  3. Turn on the oven at high temperatures. Cover the baking pan with baking paper. Spray cooking spray, put salmon fillets. Cover the salmon fillets with marinade if there are still leftovers.
  4. Bake the fish for 8 minutes, then turn it over. Remove the fish from the oven, basting each side with 2 tsp Thai sweet chili sauce. Put it back in the oven and bake for 5 minutes.
  5. Serve warm with chives and sauce, if you like.


  1. Cooking spray can be replaced with vegetable oil. However, if you want to reduce fat consumption, cooking spray is more appropriate.
  2. Thai sweet chili can be purchased at supermarkets such as the Farmers Market and Food Hall.
